With the Government of Indonesia at the heart alongside<br \/>\nthe Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), the 2026<br \/>\nevent will serve as the primary platform where national policy meets global<br \/>\ninnovation to drive the next chapter of the SDGs.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As Indonesia<br \/>\nleads the regional charge toward a resilient future, we are proud to host a<br \/>\nplatform that reflects the true complexity of the SDGs. Sustainability cannot<br \/>\nbe achieved by any one sector in isolation; it requires a unified front of<br \/>\npolicymakers, global CEOs, academic researchers, and NGOs. By convening this<br \/>\npowerful coalition in Jakarta, we are bridging the gap between strategic intent<br \/>\nand real-world implementation. This partnership bridges<br \/>\nthe gap between global academic expertise and real-world state<br \/>\nimplementation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Inaugural<br \/>\nAsia-Pacific Business Summit: Bridging Policy and Profit <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A defining feature<br \/>\nof the 2026 program is the launch of the inaugural Asia-Pacific Sustainable<br \/>\nBusiness Summit. Running alongside the main Congress, this high-level forum<br \/>\naddresses the priorities shaping sustainable business across the Asia-Pacific<br \/>\nregion, from energy transition and finance to supply chains, circularity,<br \/>\ndigital infrastructure and workforce capability. Participating businesses<br \/>\ninclude; Coco-Cola, TikTok and IBM along with the European Investment Bank,<br \/>\nDanantara Indonesia and the UN Global Compact.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Leadership in<br \/>\nEducation and Philanthropy <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Congress will<br \/>\nfeature a concentration of decision-makers including regional Ministers of<br \/>\nEducation and Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah, founder and chairman of the Sunway<br \/>\nGroup, whose philanthropic commitment to quality education is a cornerstone of<br \/>\nthe regional SDG movement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the<br \/>\nevent Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah said, \u201cQuality education and sustainable development<br \/>\nare the twin pillars of a resilient future.
