17 กันยายน 2567 ณ เมืองโฮจิมินห์ บริษัทชั้นนำด้านยางพาราของเวียดนาม Huy Anh Rubber ได้ก้าวสู่ความยั่งยืนครั้งสำคัญโดยการร่วมมือกับ KOLTIVA บริษัทชั้นนำด้านการเกษตรที่เกี่ยวกับความยั่งยืนและการตรวจสอบย้อนกลับห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ความร่วมมือนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อให้แน่ใจว่ามีการปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนดสินค้าปลอดการตัดไม้ทำลายป่าของสหภาพยุโรป (EUDR) ซึ่งเป็นข้อบังคับสำคัญที่ยกระดับการปฏิบัติที่ยั่งยืน โดยกำหนดให้การผลิตสินค้าที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ EUDR ต้องไม่มีการตัดไม้ทำลายป่า เวียดนามยังคงเป็นผู้นำในอุตสาหกรรมยางพาราโลก ข้อกำหนด EUDR สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้บริษัทต่าง ๆ เช่น Huy Anh Rubber ปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนดที่เข้มงวดเพื่อแสดงถึงความมุ่งมั่นต่อการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน การผลิตน้ำยางพาราในเวียดนามเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่องตั้งแต่ปี 2504 เนื่องจากมีสวนยางพาราขนาดใหญ่ ้ส่งผลให้เวียดนามเป็นผู้ส่งออกยางพารารายใหญ่อันดับสามของโลก คิดเป็นประมาณ 8.7 % ของการผลิตยางทั่วโลก (The Investor Vietnam, 2023) ในปี 2564 การผลิตยางพาราของเวียดนามสูงถึง 1.3 ล้านเมตริกตัน โดยอุตสาหกรรมล้อยางใช้ยางถึง 70% ของในการผลิต (Statista, 2024) ยางพาราของเวียดนามไม่เพียงแต่เป็นส่วนสำคัญในการผลิตล้อยางเท่านั้น แต่ยังถูกใช้ในหลายอุตสาหกรรมตั้งแต่ชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ไปจนถึงอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ ด้วยการผลิตจำนวนมาก ภาคธุรกิจยางพาราในเวียดนามมุ่งมั่นที่เข้าถึงตลาดสหภาพยุโรปด้วยการปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนดของ EUDR…
